Welcome and thanks for joining our team! SparkPeople has a lot of great tools and this team has a lot of enthusiasm to see you succeed!

If you haven't already I would suggest starting with the trackers. Track your food, water and exercise and start setting goals. Even if the goals are small to start just start working on them. We are all here to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Also, get involved in our challenges and stay involved in our forums. I am a firm believer that you will get out of this site what you put in. Commit to spending time taking care of yourself and everything else will start falling into place!

Sophiewins, I love your name!! and you do win, as long as you never give up! I remember signing up in utter desperation, and doubting every step of the way because I've tried (unsuccessfully) in the past to lose weight, but gradually my desperation is turning to determination. Sparkpeople has some awesome tools to help turn our desperation into determination and win the war we fight. I'll be here cheering for you!! together we can do this!

Hi, my name is Sophie and I am desperate to lose weight. I have just finished grad school while working...and I have packed on the pounds these past few semesters. I hate being heavy, and I hate the way I feel lugging around these extra pounds. I am hoping that my desperation and SparkPeople can help me get on the way to weight loss!
