I am a 38-year-old woman. Ten month ago, I became mom to a precious little girl. While pregnant I was so watchful of my weight and after giving birth, I tried to stay focused and followed my healthy eating habits. Breastfeeding helped me lose some of the pregnancy weight. Weaning my baby after 4 month, my weight started to go up again mostly due to the fact that my daughter required more time from me and I was paying less attention to what, where, when, and how much I ate.
I have decided to join Spark People to get healthy again and be able to provide a healthy role model for my daughter. My goal is to lose 20 pounds total in 6 month if possible but i know that it has to be done steadily. I would like to add more exercise to my routine.
This is the first time that I am making a public commitment and I hope I can make myself proud by sticking to the plan and prove to myself that my willpower is still intact.
