Wow you are awesome! I have fibro too and I know I am supposed to move more, but ugh some days are worst than others. I know the movement is supposed to make us feel better, but is it exercise to get out of bed for us? lol :)
I want your stamina in walking and just WOW go you, pushing a wheel chair is not easy, you're amazing.

Thank you for the kind words and links! I'll be sure to check out your blog. There are almost too many fun tools on this webpage! I'll have to limit myself or I'll do more reading about fitness than actually walking.

Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.

This site can only provide the support and the tools to reach these goals. You need to put the hard work in. Personally, I end up kicking my own butt every day. Feel free to check out my blogs to see how I kick my butt out the door to get my fitness in. I can tell you, once I am finished with my exercise for the day, I feel great. No more I should do this and I should do that. Instead, I feel accomplished, and able to relax and enjoy the rest of my day.

Hi everyone! I am a 36 year old mom of three. I have fibromyalgia and have gotten less active over the years. When our family started planning a trip to the zoo/amusement park I realized it was time to get my stamina back up or make my husband push me around in a wheelchair.

I started walking 10 minutes a day, adding more steps every day. Three weeks later we made it to the zoo and I never had to sit down once! Now I try to walk 10000 steps a day, usually with a 45 min+ walk. I've started waking up each day trying to plan out the best route for a walk and if it gets delayed I get a bit grumpy!

I'd like to lose 40 pounds total. I split that goal into 20 pounds to worry about at a time. But mostly I just want my previously semi-athletic body back and be able to keep up with my kids.

I'm really enjoying this site and spent entirely too much time here today! I hope you stop by to say hi! :)
