As I look in the mirrow I don't like the person looking back at me. I have three kids, 10 year old girl, after whom the weight has been long gone. In the recent years I had two boys one after another. After my (now 22 month old) son was born the weight was comming of slowly, plus I had to have surgery so only about 25 pounds (the baby included) twere lost by the time he was 6 months old, and I found out I was pregnant with my youngest, who's now 6 1/2 months old.
The first 30 pounds came of surprisingly easy - from the day before giving birth, to the 6 week checkup). I have been following the Abs Diet For Women program and I know it works. I used it about 5 years ago and mirraculously went from size 6 to size 0-3 (depending on the brand of clothing). Then following this diet and exercise plan with occasional substitutions of Slim Fast Shake, I lost another 15 pounds in about a month.
This is where the rapid weight loss stopped and could manage loosing 1 to 2 pounds a week and then gaining it back or staying at a number that wouldn't budge. This took away motivation to work out and I was stuck in this about 2 months.
Just recentlly I came about spark people website and can't get enough of it. It's everything I was looking for and so much more - all in one place. I have never written a blog so I hope I didn't write too much.
This is definetly the place where where I can plan, keep track of, and make changes and improvements while becoming my best self.
