Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. I live in the United Arab Emirates and it is difficult to find support groups here. I love morning workouts. During holidays I would exercise in the morning then be relaxed for the rest of the day. I think I will give it a try. Now to reset the alarm clock to 5:45 ....... Wow that's early. Wish me luck

I too, need to get up very early to get in 20 minutes before work. I also am fortunate to be able to walk on my lunch break. With the hot climate you live in, I live in FL by the way, that may not be feasible for very much longer. Maybe you could incorporate you children in an evening walk after dinner? Let them ride their bikes or walk along with you? How about a game of tag in the yard? Just little stuff to get you moving will help a lot.
This is a common issue for busy moms! I have two children and a full-time (HECTIC) job as well. Possibly you can try to break up small amounts of exercise into your day. Could you fit in a ten minute video in the morning when you wake up (free on spark) before you get off to work for the day? Maybe another ten minute video in the evening once the little ones go to bed?
When I first started working out I did small amounts of time in the evening once I had put my children to bed. I am not a morning person and waking up early made me feel sick verses invigorated for the day. Some people find that they have more energy when they start the day with exercise.
I walk on my lunch breaks. I see you live in a hot climate, so that may not be ideal for you.
Finding small amounts of time in your day, even ten minutes, will make a significant difference. Once you start to add some, ANY, even a little, exercise to your day you will notice that you feel better and have more energy - I PROMISE!
I'm in a similar situation. When I first joined sparkpeople I was out of work, now that I have one, I am too tired to exercise as well. I'm trying hard to eat right. I think the only choice I have left is getting up real early, so I must get to bed early as well.
Hi all, I live a very fast pace life. I find it difficult to make time to exercise. I have two daughters in elementary school and I am a full time kindergarten teacher. While my students keep me on my toes it seems that is the only exercise I am getting lately. By the end of the day I am just toooooo..... Tired to work out. I live in a hot climate so exercise outside is out of the question, well at least it will be in a few more weeks. I know I just need to get up and go but how do you all find the energy? I have about 10 - 15 pounds to lose and would like to do so before summer holidays.
