Hi Julia,

Welcome back! You definitely have a full plate (so to speak,) so it's great that you recognize you need to devote some attention to yourself. I know medications can wreak havoc with weight loss, but don't get discouraged. Focus on taking time to take care of yourself and becoming a healthier person... the weight will eventually go.

Just keep at it. As you begin to see success, it will motivate you to keep going.

Hi, I'm Julia and I've been a Spark member for 2 years but only in the last few months have gotten back into the swing of things, blogging and tracking and what not. I originally started with about 15 lbs to lose but in the last month switched a medication that has now led me to adding 9 or 10 lbs to that number. YUCK! It's hard to stay motivated these days so I'm really trying to figure out how to rely on the support of this group and others and the community that is available here. I am a full-time mom, student, and employee and have VERY little time to devote to myself and my health and wellbeing. But I'm giving it the ol' 1-2 punch as they say. Well... I don't know if they say that or not but... haha. Anyway, HI EVERYONE!!! :D
