Thank you! It's been okay. I did learn how to make some delicious meals thanks to spark recipes! This is a huge achievement because I don't cook well, and it was actually quite delicious and healthy :)
Hi, Amanda! This is my second time to use SparkPeople as well. I found I got too involved in the computer side of things versus the point which is to make the good choices in your daily life. You can do this. If you slip up or allow a "cheat" don't let it throw everything else off. If it rains and you always do your workout outside, have a back up video to work with inside or double up the next day. As long as an "off-path" choice does not become a pattern, you are making progress.
You deserve to let yourself succeed at this!

Hello! My name is Amanda, and this is my second time using SparkPeople to lose weight. I am 23, recently divorced, and the mother of a beautiful one year old girl. I just graduated with my B.A in English and psychology. Over the last three years, I have just packed on the pounds, and now I'm ready to get back down to my pre-marriage weight. My goal is to lose 80 pounds. My biggest challenge is sticking to the plan. I always start out with great intentions, follow the meal plans, exercise daily, and then something happens to cause me to just stop. Life gets busy and stressful, and before I know it, I'm eating ice cream and not working out. This time I want to stick to it and finally reach my goal that I've been saying I would reach for the last two years.
