I can't wait to check out the link. I think it is amazing that no matter what is going on in my little world, that when my hounds come to me, the trouble melts and a few pats and rubs and I am better. Watching bassets is therapeutic--at least for me.
Take care, Sylvia

Spark is an easy friendly intro to social networking. I don't blog, do Facebook, Twitter or any of that "new" stuff! Sparkpeople, though, has me hooked.
Dog-related e-mail lists I've done for years though, with specific subject matter & a comfortingly smaller (MUCH smaller) audience. Are you on the Daily Drool Basset list? If not, Google it. Join! It will keep you up to date on all the Waddles & parades. Cyberhound may have the info also. The Web is full of Basset addicts. We're a cult.
I'm out in Oregon where we have a Basset Games (formerly Olympics) every July. But the Michigan Waddle is famous! If anyone is curious, YouTube has videos. If you're ever near a BoardWaddle, Charleston Waddle or any of the others, go! It's the ultimate Basset fix & rescue fundraiser.
