Kudos to you for beginning. Spark People will help you get on track and stay on track. It is wonderful to track your nutrition and fitness. The ease of tracking everything online is wonderful - saves time. In addition there is great education material and community support.

Love it and it is working. You must be committed to the process, which the fast track helps. Small goals - it can happen.

Hi, I am a 37 year old wife and mom of 2 children. I work full time and go to college half time, so needless to say I am a very busy person. I have always struggled with weight and I have always been the largest of 3 girls. With my busy schedule the last few years health has not been a top priority and I have gained even more weight.

Right now I am 4'11 and weigh 220. (Ouch that is tough to say) It is time for a change because I am tired, of struggling to do so many things. I have a 6 year old son that needs me to keep up and I have a hard time doing so. I also see the impact my decisions are making on my children. I Must do something now! I have been looking over all that this site has to offer. Looks like I found a great resource and a great opportunity to learn.
