I like making the things my family likes but healthier versions. Tonight is Family pizza night for us. I make a whole wheat dough, and then I set the table like a bar with fresh veggies, turkey pepperoni (tastes like regular but is low fat), and other healthy toppings. I give everyone a piece of dough and everyone gets o make thier own. The love it! It is a fun family activity which ends with a yummy meal and extends the dinner time into a longer family time. It is amazing what healthy items they will put on the pizza. Everyone is happy and I get a healthy meal into everyone and they think they are eating junk. lol.
I do other meals too where I just make them healthier.
