I think the key thing to want to change. Then there are lots of resources available. There are great recipes here and on Cooking Light. I also find using the nutrition tracker is really important.

Welcome. So glad your here. I've found that once you get into the routine of eating healthy, that you go back to it. Most of the time. I found myself going back to the old ways and feeling really awful. So not I'm back on track. I use the recipies here a lot. I mainly cut back on breads and fats and sugars. That seems to help the most.

Well I have been a SparkPeople member for about a year and honestly I haven't accomplished much weight loss. I think it has a lot to do with how to eat and cook healthy. I haven't given it much thought until now. I spent most of my life not caring about what I eat. Now that I want to start eating healthy I feel totally clueless. I don't know where to begin or how to make healthy foods. This is the year I want to finally succeed. If anyone has any advice or can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
