Doesn't bother me; whatever helps you.
One day at a time; one pound at a time.
If that will help you do this go for it.
We all have to do what we have to do, there are a lot of articles in the conditions center for you to read.
I have done well with weight loss, Blood pressure and Diabetes Blood Glucose but these little cholesterol devils are tricky. I have given in to getting help with Fenofibrate.
Just got my results back and they are up instead of down.
As I said you do what you have to do and mostly that is to be MOTIVATED, DETERMINED and CONSISTENT. NO EXCUSES it is all in our own hands to decide how healthy we can make our lifestyle. Pat in Maine,
Pat in Maine.
I FEEL Healthier every day with my Spark Tracker.
I will do it slowly I like it that way.
Toodle-ooo! and Toodle- Pip!
JUST DO IT!
Be mindful that happiness isn't based on possessions, power, or prestige, but on relationships with people we love and respect.
Remember that while money talks, Friendships sing and laugh out loud.
I just joined Sparkpeople and am hoping to lower my cholesterol naturally. But, I will definitely take the meds if I can't do it myself. I am changing my diet (which wasn't too bad before), and making my exercise a little more intense.
I have the name NOSTATINS to remind me that I don't want to take the medication if I can help it. But, if this is offensive for anyone on here taking the medicine, I will try and change it, if I can. I promise, I am not trying to be snarky, I just thought if I have to type that in everyday to logon, it might keep my goal in my head.
Well, good luck to everyone on this lowering cholesterol journey whether on meds or not.
