ANABEL, this is way better than any fad diet I promise you. For me it is not a diet at all it is a way of life. I am 68 years young. Diagnosed with diabetes and High blood pressure and elevated cholesterol. Wanting to lose 60 pounds. I have always been active and always overweight. I tried WW and diet workshop. I tried eating so little I was told I had the blood work of an undernourished person. I was sent to a major hospital to see a person who specialized in eating disorders. He told me I should eat properly and learn to live with my weight. I was told I have a very slow metabolism.
I did that for a while and when I was diagnosed diabetic over 2 years ago, I again tried to lose weight. I went to a bookstore to look at diet books, I was looking for Atkins. I found the "Spark Book" and I was so impressed with it I bought it and after reading it I went back and bought our sons one each. After 2 years with Spark, I feel great I look great and I am off diabetes medicine and blood pressure medicine. My Cholesterol is going down and I hope to get off that medication too, very soon. I am 50 pounds down from my highest weight and I just want to get to over weight instead of obese. I will do it, Spark will help. Spark will help you too. If you are diabetic there is a diabetic tracker. If not the regular tracker works too. Set up your tracker and continue with your exercising. This is a big site with lots of information. hello my name is Anabel, My employer is having a biggest loser challenge. I'm taking this opportunity to make changes in my life for the postive. Even though I had already made my first step by getting more active, I dont stay consistant with my workouts or healthy eating. So I lost 20 pounds only to gain it back and only maintain my weight. I need support right now. Even though my husband is on board with weight loss, he doesnt have much to lose and he's starting a fad diet. I'm super obese and my joints are feeling it. I'm ready to find ME! Plus my children need me too.....
