Welcome to this Team. I have been on the program for almost 2 weeks and have lost 13#s. But I did the rapid results first. I,too live 35 miles from the nearest store- and 85 to any town of "size"- which is relative here in western Nebraska. So I understand your plight. I am a type D- so fortunately I can eat beef, THIS IS BEEF COUNTRY. And I get that free. Any questions??? I have still learning myself- but we can figure them out together.

I will tell you one thing I didn't realize for a few days-- that there are free foods that you can add to any meal or snack. I thought I had to measure out all the veggies, etc. Check the list on the website (provida).

Marcia

Heather you made a good choice on this program. I have felt really secure with it, mostly it is simple, effective and can adjust my protein. I lost 8 lbs in Jan, only l pd in Feb so far so switched to the rapid results and find it good. I am 8l and so no one loses as slow as I do but the fact that I can do it all and still feel healthy, and lose some am very happy with it. The exercises are doable too.

Hi Heather, I am starting my second 6 weeks. I lost 21.5 #'s on my first 6 weeks. Look through the posts on this site and you will find a lot of information on how we have gotten through for the past few months. You will also find some recipes that people have used to help keep things interesting. I find recipes from this site and the provida site. Some you will like and some you won't. I have learned that some of my condiments are worth buying instead of making, i.e. salt-free catsup. Pick up some whey powder that will help with some of your meals. It is a protein powder that you can make smoothies with. I love the "diet resolution" sold at GNC at one time. Not sure they still carry it though. Make sure the kind you do get has less than 120 calories, less than 5 carbs and at least 22 grams of protein in one scoop. I buy the chocolate and make all kinds of smoothie concoctions. I have posted some of them. It breaks up the egg whites for breakfast. Yuck!! What body type are you? I am a B and usually have the smoothie for breakfast or deli chicken slices or turkey sausage. There is some sodium in the chicken slices but it is a fast meal and breaks up the chicken breast also. Good Luck and don't be afraid to ask questions!
