If you take the stuff you usually toss in your bag and at night fit it into your bento box, you may find you want to add a few extra things to fill up space (carrot sticks, little tomatoes, even beef jerky are things I've used to fill little gaps). I never have time in the morning to make lunch but if I make my bento while I make dinner in the morning I grab it and it's such a good feeling, like I'm sort of put together for the day. It's something nice you can do for yourself.
I discovered bento a few months ago and started researching online avidly. I just bought a bento box set and a few molds and such but have yet to use them. I have however started to make and take lunch and snacks to school/work but so far its just hastely made sandwiches in cellophane and a carton of yogurt tost in my bag. I hope joining this group will motivate me to actualy plan and make my bento's. Also, it would probably help if I cleaned my kitchen.
