URAYAMASHIIIIIIIIII YO!!! I'd love to be living in the Tokoy burbs! Love this bento buddy site. Mata ne!
Wow! Welcome to the group!
I'm definately intrigued about your wonderful meals and bento! though i'll admit i don't know much of Japanese language, but would LOVE to learn ;)
I can't wait to see what recipes you have to share. i think that's why i stopped making bento, i got tired of the same thing all the time lol.

Konnichiwa! I am a new Bento Buddy. Watahshi-wa America-jin Gunjin Shufu-desu. I am an American housewife, living in Tokyo suburbs. I joined SP last April, am just figuring out how to join team, LoL!
Yes, I love bento, AND the food that comes in it. When DH packs them for sightseeing trips, I love opening my box to see what the heck he packed in there. When I pack them, I usually include a kawaii character for the kids (think of waterproof sticker), and they enjoy guessing which character i've packed for them before they open it. usually HK or Thomas Blue Engine.
Sometimes we are lucky just to have remembered the hashi. LoL
I am still learning Japanese style cooking, so most of the foods we pack are American-style home cooking. But I have been guests of very fancy traditional Japanese dinner, and have some pics. Gotta find those to post ...
I am grateful to have bento buddies from back "home" to hook up with. Now I will have to check out online & Ebay to compare what we have to what is available online. LoL
