Our little bento group has become most quiet over the past few months. i'm really not sure where to direct you to find ingredients. i live out in the boonies in NC..so i can't even find stuffs here lol.

A little bit about me. I was a foreign exchange student in Tokyo for 7 weeks when I was 17. I lost probably between 10-20 lbs between my host mom's super-healthy cooking (and bentos!) and riding my bike/walking to the train station and back to get to school every day.
Ever since then, I've wanted to add more Japanese food to my diet... but it wasn't until recently that I've learned enough about cooking, found the right places to get special ingredients, and been able to find the right equipment (like those darn bento boxes -- used to be impossible to find in the States) to do so.
So....... does anybody have a good resource on where to find nutrition info for stuff like hijiki and umeboshi?
