Thanks NancyVV for your words, this week I re-started tracking what I eat just to make sure, I've never stopped tracking the exercises and calories burnt though.
Like you, I would like to be able to keep the weight without being obsessive with the calories/exercise. So far my weight has been around my goal 1+/- pound and my walking around 9 miles daily, but what would happen if I reduced the mileage or like in the coming holiday season I get a pumpkin pie slice/ cookies / or a eggnog glass? I guess like Shrlzi said, it's all about balance.... which is a new chapter in our fight against gaining weight.. have a nice week!

Hi PUNCHILOUIE, I'm glad you found us. This is a really great and supportive team. You'll get lots of tips and ideas here. For me, I find that I still have to record my food and exercise or I go off track. I'd like to get to the point where I don't have to know the calorie count of everything I eat.

I reached my goal on July 2007, I've been working to keep it since. I would like to find out strategies to do that, I weight myself almost every day for control, sometimes I weight 0ne pound more , sometimes one pound less. I walk around 9 miles per day, practice yoga, tai chi and pilates and the SP strengh exercises routine, I just started to exercise with the swiss ball. Happy Fall and happy to be here! emoticon
