40 pounds..wow, congratulations! That is awesome. As far as advice for maintaining..what works for me is to keep my exercise routine going. I gradually added back some foods I loved. I do treat myself more now but don't go overboard. Thats what works for me..you will find what works for you. I still weigh once a week but haven't logged my food since I went on maintenance. Others do continue to log..good luck!

Congratulations! That is prety impressive. First you need to reward yourself. I took my dogs on a long walk throgh a beautiful park as it was starting to rain. Then just keep on doing what you were doing.

That means we can welcome you to this group! Best tip I have is to continue to stay OP and if you have a slip up, know that you did, get past it and go back to doing what got you here. Congratulations!

You go girl!!!

Advice? Just keep on keepin' on.... add back in foods you miss, but
* * * s l o w l y * * *
like, once a week not every day... and *notice* the effect. Me, I found out if I eat popcorn I go up a pound the next day. If I eat white bread, I find myself thinking about chocolate. Bars. Truffles. Well, ok, I think about them anyway but not as much or so irresistably. I had gotten away from evening snacks, but let them back in... and I'm finding it really isn't a good idea for me, even if they are 'healthy' snacks.

Most of all, ***keep exercising***!!

You will keep on experimenting, and finding out what you need to do to maintain.

Good Luck, and Welcome to this team!!
