Also, if you expect to stick to one weight, you will constantly be frustrated. Most, (if not all) of us here have a goal weight range, 2-3 lbs above and below our actual "goal weight" that we feel comfortable in. I know I fluctuate in my weight daily, and could never stick to one number. I don't know if that's what you meant by going up and down in your weight, but that might help your mindset.

Other than that, congrats on hitting your goal, and welcome to maintenance!

Hi there and welcome. Sorry you are going through the yo-yo thing. But rest assured it is normal and we have all been there. I would suggest that if you are tracking that you go back to a week where you did well and see what you did. Also maybe go back to the 1500 range and start to add 100-200 cals per day for a week and re-evaluate. Same with your exercise.

Don't set your limits until you have tested them...

Hello to all! I have just joined this team in hopes of learning how to maintain my weight. I reached my goal in July but now I have having a very hard time staying at my ideal weight. I am either losing or gaining so I am in need of some guidence.

One thing I have learned, the work doesn't end when you reach goal! ;)

I plan to keep tracking food until the end of the year, at least -- and the exercise is for life! ;)

Hello, I am so glad I found this team. I reached my goal weight June 6, and I have been looking for something to keep me accountable! I have been slipping on my calories and working out! emoticon
I have maintained my weight,but I'm so afraid I'm going to fall completly off the wagon.
