Thanks ladies. It is sort of a setback. But I suppose it is better to get something like this out of the way early in my running "career" and to learn from it. It has been a nice test of maintenance to lose a high output and high calorie burner like running and to have to still burn the same amount of calories with no impact. I am pretty proud of how I have handled it so it is a good/bad thing. My New Years resolution every year is to simply find humor in every day and I have found it, lol.

OOC which marathon are you doing?

Sorry to hear about your injury Laura. It's so frustrating to see your goals just out of reach. But I have no doubt you will come back better than ever.

Hi OOC. Good to see you are still training and doing well. I am excited to hear about your marathon and the training. I am hoping I can get the green light to run on the 28th when I get my new xrays. I have a stress fracture of my pelvis. And a 1/2 on October 21st. It will be close.

That's a sure sign of getting close to goal! It was frustrating to me when people told me I shouldn't lose any more weight. It's a very personal thing. Congratulations!

Great job! It is hard to find that ending number. I get the hassle all the time. What people don't understand is that while I am small, I am very fit and this is a weight my body likes. I don't have to work horribly hard to maintain it so it must be a comfortable spot. People just don't get it. They would be shocked to see how much I eat in a day, lol.

Congrats!!!!!

When I got close to my goal, I did have people asking me when I was planning on stopping... so I knew I was near a good goal. LOL!

Welcome! :D

Isn't that great? Congratulations. When people change drastically it is hard to get used to them. People tell me that I am too skinny, but I see that I am a normal weight. They're just used to me being fat. Welcome to the group.

I am on my way to loosing my last 5 pounds....total 50! I joined sp in March after having way too much sweets during Christmas, My January birthday, and Valentines! I had started my weight loss August last year by joining a Curves type gym, and by February 14 was stalled. Decided to go sugar free, and the weight started dropping again. So now my friends at the gym said i didn't need to loose any more. I was trying to get to my high school weight 120. With the gym, guess those extra bumps got firmer, or rearranged or something, because, guess i don't need to loose to 120, will accept 130 and be happy knowing that i am so much more healthier. Glad to finally be able to say "I am in maintenence"!!!!!!! P.S. i am 56.
