I bought the Spark Solution book and I am on my first week. I have to adapt the recipes for me. It is a lot of food. I am exercising more than the book. Best wishes on the journey with us. Hi! I am new to the team although I have been following for a couple months now as I approached my goal. Seems to be a very active team and i love that. It has been a terrific journey and I continue to learn so much about myself as I continue on my path to health. I am at my maintenance weight that I would like to maintain with a 3 lb cushion. I am a seventy-five year old wife, mother, and grandmother. I had become quite sedentary due to osteoarthritis in my knees and spending my days homeschooling a granddaughter. One of my daughters introduced me to SparkPeople one year ago. I read Indygirl 's story, found some Coach Nicole exercises to do from a chair, and was hooked. Almost one year later I have been at goal for two weeks, having lost 55 pounds, can walk two to three miles and am so thrilled with this website and all the help offered. I have plans to keep Sparking and tracking food and exercise.

This team could be "just what the doctor ordered." I lost 40 pounds six years ago and became a lifetime member of weight watchers. The inspiration was my daughter asking me to be her matron of honor. My old habits are creeping back into my life. I retired last December and gained 17 pounds. If I don't do something, I will lose my lifetime member status, I don't want to start paying $14 to attend the meetings. It appears that team members are upbeat and positive. I'm hoping that you will "rub off on me."

Hi, my name is Lydia and I have been at my goal weight for about a year now and I want to stay there. I really enjoyed Spark People to lose the weight, so I was happy to see there is a support team for maintaining the weight.
