My goal is to adjust to maintaining and to keep my weight stable. I haven't been exercising on a consistent level over the winter. I want to get back to my weekly routine of daily walks and aquatic/fitness center 2x a week now that the weather is getting decent. I hope to do cardio 5x a week again instead of just 3x.

I love SparkPeople

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

I am responsible for my own happiness.

My name is Bonnie

My goal is also to follow a consistent exercise plan. I have two jobs now and I've been using that as an excuse to only exercise once or twice a week. Now that the weather is starting to get a little warmer I am going to start doing the couch to 5k plan again, I did it last summer and ran/walked a 5 mile race on Thanksgiving. By the end of the summer I want to be able to run the entire race:)

My main goal is to continue maintaining and get more physical.
I'm working on a sustainable, moderate, consistent exercise program.
I am staying active, but not enough to 'see' results.

Eating seems to be on track, even those occasional 'oh no' days are
usually infrequent and for the most part I am not terribly out of the ball park--other
than too many calories.

Beyond my body . . . I am re-learning to sew and taking a quilting class with my daughter.
Learning to do mosaics with broken dishes and . . .
I am looking forward to adding some new plants for my garden to compliment my better food choices--going to plant more greens (spinach, kale, etc.) and add few more varieties of squash and beans too. I am putting on the gardeners hat and going for the green! (We always have a big garden, but this year I plan to be more proactive.) On the business side, I'd like to grow my business and see a few more sales this year.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

SW: 275-276 Ht. 5'6"
GW: 135 (goal range: 130-140)
CW: WAS 124.7 NOW: 143.5
My focus is health AND fitness! And LOSING 10 lbs. again!
(I'm STILL getting
there . . . )

Would like to walk my second half marathon, maybe do some 5Ks and 10K races also. Signed up for one in April that my son will join me and probably cream me on. Maybe he will get a bit of a race bug and join me a bit.

Also want to continue with my biking, if I can get my bike tire to stop going flat. My tire went flat and my hubby removed the inner part and found a leak in the seam of the tire. So I bought a new inner tire thingie. The bike shop said to feel along the inside of the tire and make sure there was nothing sharp or anything that may have caused the problem. So I felt it as much as I could and found nothing. So we inflated the inner thing, installed it, etc. Then I went and biked about 2.72 miles and my tire went flat again. :( *sigh*

Non exercise goals are mainly to try and increase my blog readership and get some locals who will share coupons with me. Bike, hike and walk more trails locally to review on my blog. Blog more recipes too. :)

4AHealthy, Great Falls is just 20 minutes from here and we watch the kayakers. Some springs, when the river is running fast, the park service closes the river to all watercraft. You don't want to try to swim there, people get killed too often trying to swim, but the kayakers have a ball.

I am trying to maintain the habits I blogged about last week as part of the 5% challenge - flossing, using Swiss ball as computer chair and tracking food. I've also started a couple of threads on teams I'm on to encourage ST and am hoping to benefit from those myself!

My goal is to get back to all the wonderful habits I made while I was in weight loss mode. If I stray away from that, one iota, I gain weight. emoticon

My goal for my next year of maintenance is to continue to make my lifestyle more moderate, especially in terms of my eating. I made it through my first year by basically eating at weight loss levels six days a week to allow for a seventh day where I could go hog wild. Although it's worked for me, I'd like to try working on being on a more even keel all week long. My treat meals sometimes get to the point where I feel ill from eating so much and I want to truly enjoy the food I indulge in, not feel sick from it! I'd also like to be able to eat a bit more on a day-to-day basis rather than feeling like I need to "save up" for the weekend.

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

My goal is to just catch up, get back involved with my church and other groups. Two years ago my hubby had a couple of strokes and broke his leg, an entire year to recover. Last year my mother was diagnosed (finally!) with dementia and moved into a continuing care place. I had to move her, sell her condo and her car, take over her finances and get her medical care under control. Although I don't regret any of it, I have my life back and am easing back into the things I love.

So what new goals have you all set for yourselves now that you're at your goal weight, or almost at your goal weight? I've been doing P90x for almost a year now, and I'm working on a goal of getting strong enough to do at least one of each type of pull-up without my Chin-Up Assist... I'm getting there, I'm much stronger now than I was when I first started, but still having a hard time doing some of the different types of pull-ups without my chin-up assist device. I would love to take up a new activity, but I'm a bit limited in what I can do because of health concerns and also money.

Looking forward to hearing the goals all of you maintainers have set for yourselves!
