Many Thanks for the warm and encouraging welcome from so many maintainers!
So far so good, but it's only been 3 days! I'm adding about 100 calories to see how this works for the first week.

Many congratulations on reaching goal. That's fantastic!
Lots of maintainers have success leveling off their weight by gradually increasing their calories. I did this by adding in an additional 50-100 calories at a time, recording how the increase was reflected on the scale then making adjustments as necessary. I find that I can eat, on average, an extra 300 calories above where I was as I was still losing and hold my weight steady.
Good luck as you begin maintenance and let us know if you have any questions or need some extra support!

Congratulations!! The happier you were able to be with your life while losing, the better you'll be able to keep it off.

Congratulations! You are in the right place for some great motivation/ accountability in maintenance. It will get more comfortable as time goes on...just don't forget how easily it can become too comfortable if we allow it to :) Ask for help when you need it! Welcome!

The past is our definition. We may strive, with good reason, to escape it, or to escape what is bad in it, but we will escape it only by adding something better to it.

Calories control is what works for me too!
I hope I can eat a couple hundred calories more each day and not gain, but I guess time will tell what works!

I reached goal, too, the day before you did. Now I'm trying to hold onto it! In my case, calorie control is all.

Hello everyone, I reached my goal weight on Friday November 23 and was surprised as I thought it would take me all winter to lose the 10lbs I needed to lose.
I attribute this to the food tracker as it sure showed me where all those calories were coming from.. cheese, butter and too much bread and cereal.
I'm happy to be here, but a bit anxious about how the maintenance phase will go. I'll look around this team and see how others have acheived this.
