The past is our definition. We may strive, with good reason, to escape it, or to escape what is bad in it, but we will escape it only by adding something better.
Way to go. That's really awesome! I know 62NVON's already offered to be an accountability buddy with you, but I'd be happy to oblige as well if you need an extra tug. I could use a bit of tugging myself. I hit six months on maintenance ten days ago, had a health scare last week and fell off the wagon a bit for a few days. I'm back on track again but want to make sure I don't start to slide again. Anyway, let me know if you're still looking for another partner and congratulations again.
My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

Congratulations on making weight! That's wonderful!
I have a very active board on Facebook called Better Body. It's another great place to come for support, if you'd like to check it out. We are a private group, so you will have to request to join, but we'd love for you to see what you think. Here's a link that I hope works! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1643
If the link doesn't work, you can just search "better body" on Facebook. Our group icon is the plate with the knife and fork.
Anyone is welcome to join, BTW. It's not invitation-only. :-)

Good for you! It is wonderful you have discovered how to take care of yourself at such a young age (coming from a grandma here).
Congratulations - I understand how you feel - I still can't believe that I'm now sample-sized. Just keep on tracking, and slowly increase so you don't keep losing ...
I had a bit of a binge weekend myself, so I'm committed to getting back on track today.
I'd be happy to be your accountability buddy... I need one lately myself. =)

Over 110 pounds gone for good!
So, on Saturday although I lost my fight, I was officially a featherweight and weighed in at under 150 pounds. 1 year ago I was 215 pounds. I was 200 last Christmas, and now I'm considered a featherweight. That alone feels great.
But anyway, now that I got all my horrible celabratory binging out of the way this weekend, I want to eat right and keep improving myself. Even giving a very conservative estiamte of how many calories I burn through the week between Brazilian jiu jitsu training 5 nights a week, weight lifting, and running I'm supposed to eat 2200 calories a day
Really looking forward to the energy levels from that, but could also use a buddy or two to keep me accountable and help with eating healthy still. No sense throwing this all away and needing to cut 10 pounds again in a few months when I notice my abs have disappeared. Anyone interested?
