I'll mostly be a quiet observer for now, but figured I would at least step up to the mic and introduce myself.
I started this specific leg of my life journey in mid-September 2011. I'm currently just past the 70 pounds lost mark. I've got a goal weight set - 160 or 155 - but it's a very loose goal, so I have trouble saying "I have __ pounds left to lose". Those would put me in the 18.5 to 23.5 pounds to go range.
My current expectation as I gradually approach an appropriate weight range is that I'll still be tracking my nutrition and workouts. I love numbers and spreadsheets, so this isn't really a chore to me. Fitness goals are already more important to me than weight, and I plan to keep building my functional strength and fitness.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading about the experiences, challenges, and successes of our SparkPeople Maintainers here! I left the 40-something team for those who need to lose 10-25 pounds because the mindset just did not match the way I think of the journey to better health. I'm hoping this and the Fab 40s team fill the bill better.
