Hi! I'm new, too!

I've been in maintenance for a couple of years. IMHO maintaining is harder than losing was. Seems a lot easier to keep walking on a tight rope than to stand still.

Welcome to the team! I have been with the team for just over a year or so and am still learning! If you should start to have problems either losing or gaining try out the challenge area. It has helped me a great deal. I am heading back down to my goal!

Welcome to the team, BECKYANNE1! I reached goal in March and it's only been in the past two months that I've mentally shifted out of weight loss mode. In the beginning, I was still expecting to see losses on the scale and secretly felt elated when I did and disappointed when I didn't. Thankfully, my plan was to slowly transition into maintenance so by the time my weight leveled off, my mind was in a good place where I could accept that seeing the same number on the scale is a beautiful thing to be celebrated. You'll get there too--it just takes some time and patience with yourself.

Again, welcome to the team and please let me or one of the other leaders know if you ever have any questions.

It has taken me quite a few yrs to get to this point, but I'm finally here. I wanted to lose another 5 lbs., but my Dr. doesn't want me to. I will be having surgery in Oct. for a hernia repair and I will be also having a tummy tuck which will reduce my weight. So now I am trying to maintain and not lose any more. Kind of hard to stop trying to lose though.
