The past is our definition. We may strive, with good reason, to escape it, or to escape what is bad in it, but we will escape it only by adding something better.

Original Goal: 114. Current old lady goal: 106.
Welcome! I did the same thing you did...hit my goal just before vacay. I think it helped me get through a little better, but that trip was to a walking festival, so I was active most of the time.
Maintaining since May 19, 2012
Hi, and welcome!
I belong to that same lost and found cycle... but hopefully this time it's lost for good. This team is great for everyone close to or at goal.

Over 110 pounds gone for good!
Welcome to the team! Please take a look around and let me or one of the other leaders know if you have any questions.
My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

Excellent plan - ironically, I go on a 2-week vacation starting this coming weekend and the same thoughts went through my head. I joined the team just last week. Glad to have you here. Pat
I believe in myself, I am a strong woman. I will reach my goals, NOTHING & NOBODY will hold me down. I will live my life with integrity and intention. I will set a good example for my daughters and my son. I will be a woman that makes my grand children proud when they look at pictures of me long after I've left this earth.
Hi, everyone! I joined the team about three weeks ago but I immediately left for vacation. I chose this timing because I wanted to have an extra motive to control myself during vacation. "Hey, you're on the maintainers team now. You can't go back and have to start all over again!" This voice in my head plus my fitness activities really worked because I'm back with no gain at all!
I'm really glad to be part of this team. I really know the importance of maintenance because I belong to the big majority of people who lost the weight and gained it all back at some point in the past. The truth is I need a few more pounds to get to my goal but I really don't stress over it because I'm happy with how I look and how I feel at the moment.
I'm anxious to get to know all of you and share tips and advice for a healthy lifestyle.
