I've been on Spark since September 2010 and at one point had lost 48 pounds to get to a lower weight than I have ever been (well at least in a long long time...) I knew I could lose, but have not been so sure I can maintain. I have lost before, several times...
I also started running, which was a nice catalyst for my weight loss. It really shaped and toned my body and gave me some confidence especially since I've never been a runner and didn't know if I could be. I have done 3 5K's and doubt I'll ever run a marathon, but still enjoy my 3-4 mile runs.
I haven't been able to run as much and miss that. My exercise level has declined, but I commute to work (2 hours lost) and have my family to care for and sometimes, running is just not an option. I have gained back 5-6 pounds and think that I might keep it and just try for some toning. In some of the pictures I saw of myself, I actually thought I was looking sickly, even though I didn't think I was thin enough.... Not sure were to set my weight goal at.
Anyhow, I'm going to try and maintain 135, give or take a few, for now. I know what it takes, but my resolve isn't as strong as it had been. I'm glad to find this board and hoping for some inspiration from those of you who have learned how to maintain.
I live in Maryland, work in DC, have a 25 year old, a college student and a high school senior....plus two dogs. (Oh yeah, and a husband!)
