CONGRATULATIONS, Denise! You are a pretty fabulous success story :) I love that you're going after a financial goal now. That's one I made about ten years ago, and I've now got some good habits well in place to keep it goin'.

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

It's hard to find that goal weight, isn't it? I've found a range - 115-120 - and so far, so good. But I love your idea of finding another target to set my sights on...especially since the new year's just around the corner :)

My goal weight was 125 which I think I reached last January and then I kept losing to the point where I recently hit 104 lbs, the very bottom of my BMI. The last few days I've been eating additional carbs because people keep asking me if I'm OK or if I have enough food.

Actually, when I reached goal I set myself a new goal of getting out of debt. I've been working on it since 2008, but I have made that more of a focus. I think I'll be out of debt by sometime next spring if all goes well. Then I'll set myself another goal.

So when you've reached goal and you're wondering "Now what?", think of something else you might like to achieve. There are always new goals out there to be achieved!

I started SP at 138 lbs in October 2010. My goal weight was supposed to be 125, which I reached in January 2011. I have stayed at 125 (give or take a few pounds) ever since.

emoticon to the team. I have been struggling with staying in my goal range, myself. I'm currently under and have been trying to increase calories. It's nice to "hear" someone else can relate.

Check in often! The support here is emoticon

emoticon This is a great team who share many good insights on maintaining, which I agree is a whole new ball game from losing. Congratulations on your reaching your goal!

Hope you will also offer some of your insights to the group. Your activity list sounds like fun. I'm tempted to try Zumba, but don't think there are classes near where I live. ST is important, but one I used to dismiss or put off. Now I'm getting better, due to some of the challenges I've joined.

I've been on Spark for over 4 years now, and despite many ups & downs have managed to reach my goal weight (well, almost 2lbs under now!). I still track intermittently and feel that overall i make good choices 99% of the time. I've been maintaining now for about 5 weeks. It's a great feeling, but very odd!!!! Never before in my adult life (i'm 37) have I NOT been on a mission to LOSE.

I sought this team out because I'm kind of having a "now what???" issue. I'm getting used to eating MORE, which was soooooo hard at first. I mean 2000-2200 calories seems LUDICROUS! But when I wasn't eating that much, I got 4 lbs under my goal and was honestly getting concerned that I was losing too much weight. I'm very active, teaching zumba classes 4x week and running 2-3 times week. Somewhere in the mix strength training got pushed to the curb, so I'm setting a new goal to get a solid day of ST worked back in. Other than that.....I guess I'm just hanging out here for the duration.
