I just read a great blog from 4A-HEALTHY-BMI with all sorts of great info and a fantastic idea for logging the foods that didn't go down the hatch!

I LOVED IT!!! There was a link to this team as well....

I've been on the site since January 2008. My profile name includes my goal weight, but it turned out that was a number that COULD BE BEAT! After regaining my "Spark honeymoon" weight loss to within 12 pounds of my high weight by the end of my second year, I bumped along until this January.
I had an important event at the end of July that was my catalyst *and* motivation. I changed up my way of eating after reading Eat to Live. My challenge that started in January called for an average 2 lb loss per week, and I averaged 1.5 lbs. Slow, steady, consistent from January till end of July.
I don't eat a strict vegetarian diet, but I try to eat all whole foods and plenty o' vegetables. The weight came off and I've been maintaining between 117-123 since August 1st, so two months of maintenance so far.

I look forward to meeting you folks! Congrats to you all, I plan to learn a lot from you and hope I can help, too!

I started SP at 138 lbs in October 2010. My goal weight was supposed to be 125, which I reached in January 2011. I have stayed at 125 (give or take a few pounds) ever since.

I agree with 4A-HEALTHY-BM. Stay focused. I found
that it was better at first to change very little of what
I had been doing. I gradually added calories until
I found that sweet spot. That took me nearly a year.
At first, I still lost some. Now, I am steady.

Hang out here. The support is just what we need to
maintain our commitment to our new wonderful way
of being.

Hi All:
I'm new to the maintenance lifestyle and am happy to join your team. I've recently hit my goal of a normal BMI and lost 71 pounds in 8.5 months to get there. I love my new lifestyle and I'm totally motivated to keep the weight off. I've always been overweight or obese, so I had no idea how great it feels to be healthy. Looking forward to learning from everyone's wisdom and experience!
