You have come to the right place! Starting exercise slowly is a very good plan! Using the Nutrition Tracker to track what you eat will also be a huge help. Its what did it for me. When I realized how many calories were in what I was eating, it was a real eye opener even though I thought I was eating healthy vegetarian. Two huge tips: Do NOT buy any junk food!! Have only healthy things in your home to eat. Get away from highly processed quick fix meals. Discover the wonderful world of fresh produce, you never know what fruits and veggies you may like..Spark People is a wonderful site and you will meet great helpful people who are very supportive!

Hi everyone. My name is Linda and im 21 yrs old. Ive had weight issues all my life. I recently moved and now im a stay at home mom to my 23 month old. So i sit inside all day and all i want to do is eat. But ive been using exercise on demand on 3 times a week and im hopeing to increase it to 5 times a week. I joined this website so i can get a goal and actually stick with it. My goals ... well im tippin the scale between 200 and 203.. When i moved i was 187!! So i have to do something and its so hard.
