you are in the right place for the beginning of your maintenance journey! I've been here a short time, but the support is awesome. Check in often and on the new journey!
Welcome to the team! Keep up the exercise but I think you are right you can lighten it up just a bit. I would highly recommend to keep logging your food for a while. I plan on doing it indefinately. Good luck on your maint. phase. If you need any help just give a yell.

Outstanding achievements, STARDUSTD. I understand your anxiety. As a newbie to maintaining, I've already had my lil panic attacks, I won't lie. But think about what we have done to come here. We are strong now and can adjust. I think that is what it takes. We watch everything we do and make it happen.
I hit the self imposed high end of my weight range today, 170. I know it has to be muscle weight but I'm having fun tweeking till I get it right. Welcome and remember you are not alone. I'm getting wonderful help and support from all these winner Sparkers!
Oh, had to add that I just saw Wicked last year and loved your quote. I think we've all defied gravity!

Congrats on reaching your goal, and welcome to the balancing act we sometimes call maintenance! What a great accomplishment... I went and peeked at your spark page!
As I know from many efforts, maintenance is harder than the initial "rush" of watching the numbers drop. Which of course, leads right into that "five more pounds" that can tip the scale in the other dangerous direction!
So... find what works... hang around here, there's some great advice and that oh-so-vital when you need one!

Welcome and best of luck!

Hi everyone! I've been consistently trying to lose weight since Oct 2009. I recently reached goal weight (YAYY) but have been experiencing a fair amount of anxiety over the transition to maintenance phase: trying to adjust to easing up a little but not too much, not slipping back into unhealthy habits, getting away from the "just 5 more lbs" mentality, etc.
I'm so glad to join this team and look forward to the information and tips I'm sure to pick up from hearing everyone else's experiences.
