I think I can officially declare myself at my goal weight -- and my goal BMI -- dead center in the 'normal' range at 22.4. My weight has been between 143 - 145 for over a month and that's where I want to stay. I've dropped 30 pounds since I started in April of 2010.
I am 59, married, raising two stepdaughters, have 3 grown daughters. I had heart surgery a year and a half ago, and I'm running a marathon tomorrow.
Food has always been an issue -- a source of comfort in times of trouble of which there seem to always be too many. So I know I will have to remain vigilant always. I hope to find support here in the ongoing journey.

Welcome to a good place.

One of the keys for me has been logging everything that I eat. Just logging keeps my perspective. Your group can do that.

I also use it for logging running times.

And yes, I do the weigh in -- but am learning not to check that all too often.

The resources are great.

Support groups such as this are spiffy.

If you read through the 4 stages of Spark it gives great perspective. In fact -- those stages apply to many areas of life.

Welcome!

Welcome, Huey15. I like this team as it supports that delicate process called maintenance... it's different from the losing process, that's for sure. Congratulations on getting to a "happy place" for you.

Good supporting group here. emoticon

I was looking for all all inclusive place to track "me". I am a leader of a group called "TOPS" Take Off Pounds Sensibly. I am within my goal leeway and am just trying to keep healthy sensibly. I am not too concerned with BMI. I think the numbers are too low there. I feel good and look like a girl and that is what matters!
