It's amazing how easily the weight starts to escalate when you have to back off on the exercise. After 18 months on maintenance, I gained 10 pounds just by being lax and not sticking to my walking regimen. Lesson learned!!

Sparkpeople is definitely the place to get the weight loss momentum going again. You're so wise to hop right onto losing those few extra lbs. before they mount up.
I've been maintaining almost four years now and log in
my food and exercise every day to keep myself on the right track. Welcome back! emoticon

If you have sparked before, you know this is the place to be. I had a similar situation with a broken leg and had about 12-15 lbs. sneak back on. It feels great to get back in the swing of things and remember all those good habits. They come back quickly.

Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

Hi! I'm Lisa. I reached my 'goal' weight last year. I was in the best shape I was ever in last year. I was also training for a marathon last year which is the reason for all the before mentioned victories.

I ran into a running injury early part of this year and had to take it easy. But I was maintaining my weight and happy. But I've notice these last few months the weight is slowly creeping back on. I want to jump on it now and continue maintaining my weight. I just need to be more proactive! So I hope getting back into Sparking and this team will help!
