Congrats on reaching your goal! I've been here at maintanence for 6 months next Friday! I've never been at my goal for more than a month. I believe this site has made all the difference. Be aware of experiences that come up when you would use food to comfort yourself. You will see such a difference in how you deal with those experiences now that you would rather maintain then hide behind food.

Welcome to maintenance! I joined Sparkpeople in Nov. 2006, reached my goal in 2007 and have been staying at goal ever since by logging in every day and keeping track of what I eat and how much I exercise. What is hoopdancing? I love to dance and Jazzercise 3 days a week. Keep up the good work.

Hello to everyone! I'm glad to be here at Sparkpeople and am already beginning to see the benefits in my mood and outlook after just under two weeks. I'm here to maintain and to eat healthier and become more active. Being thin does not automatically equal healthy and in shape! I have long wanted to eat better and be more active. I started hoopdancing a couple of months ago, which helps me get exercise and also stresses to me the importance of keeping a strong, healthy, flexible body so that I can do all the hooping I want!
I wish everyone success in all of their goals and look forward to getting to know some of you along the way!
