I'm also in the process of figuring out how to maintain my current weight. Once I got in the habit of exercising, eating well, and tracking my food intake, losing weight (approx 1 pound per week) became easy. Maintaining is very different, and a little scary because I'm not tracking calories regularly, so I have to rely on my common sense for portion size and nutritional intake.
I looked at your profile, and see that you have a little boy... I do too. It's so fun to be able to really play, run, climb & wrestle with him, so that's a big motivator for me. I also like that he's seeing my husband and I being active and fit every day, so that he sees that as the norm.
