Hi, and welcome!

I'm also in the process of figuring out how to maintain my current weight. Once I got in the habit of exercising, eating well, and tracking my food intake, losing weight (approx 1 pound per week) became easy. Maintaining is very different, and a little scary because I'm not tracking calories regularly, so I have to rely on my common sense for portion size and nutritional intake.

I looked at your profile, and see that you have a little boy... I do too. It's so fun to be able to really play, run, climb & wrestle with him, so that's a big motivator for me. I also like that he's seeing my husband and I being active and fit every day, so that he sees that as the norm.

Good luck, and please share any wisdom that you've picked up along your journey!

Sarah

I wanted to briefly introduce myself. I joined this team yesterday, on my 3 year Sparkaversary. It seemed like a good time to join. I have been working on this whole losing weight thing for a good long time and have made most of the changes in my life in the last year. I am doing great, I am at goal. I am looking forward to figuring out how to maintain my loss and keeping moving forward with fitness goals, over weight loss goals!

13.1 is my next challenge!!!

Imperfection is important. If we were all perfect, then there would be no such thing as growth, and everyone would be extremely boring, which is, paradoxically, not that perfect.-- Dr. Matt
