thanks again for your comments! I have signed up for Zumba to keep it fun.
Congratulations and welcome to the team.
I've learnt a lot by reading blogs by other maintainers.
Start weight - over 166 lb
Reached goal weight in September 2009
Current maintenance range - 120-123 lb
Welcome to the team Laura!
My only tip or advice is to keep on tracking! Weigh & measure, eyeballing portion sizes doesn't work.
You can do it!

In Maintenance since 8/11/09!! (backslid without internet but still within normal range!)

I didn't "make it happen" the first time, I "made it happen" the last time!
Welcome to the team! My advice is as follows:
1- continue with what you're doing
2- add more healthy foods if you wish
3- always find fun new ways to exersize
4- allow yourself occasional treats
5- continue to educate yourself on the newest health news, articles
6- log in your food at least 5 days a week
7- stay with spark people and the team for motivation!
Congrats and welcome aboard. This team is awesome!
Currently maintaining 120 to 125 pounds for nearly a year!
to the Team! I just keep continuing to do what I do. I did not increase my calories.
Congratulations on your achievement.
Make a healthy choice for your lifestyle. Have a daily workout and take diet as per your calorie needs, based on your life styles. Tables are available in SP for calculating your daily calorie needs.
Welcome and congrats on making goal!
Reached my goal November 2009!
Weight Watchers worked for me and now I work for Weight Watchers.
It is a life style, not a life sentence.
thank you all for welcoming to the group and for all your great suggestions!
Hi and welcome, maintaining is just more of the same lifestyle with a few more calories. For me, it was a case of looking at having a goal before me that in some way meant keeping up the exercise - I hope to go on a 150k pilgrimage when hubbies' health problems sorted out. Secondly staying with the Spark, somehow it makes me more accountable.

Welcome, welcome!! Congrats on reaching goal.
Have you checked out the new Secrets of Success section? It is under the community menu. Lot of good ideas.
I suspect that you have lost this weight sensibly. If that is so, to maintain, you just do what you have been doing, but add a little more food. I'd recommend adding mostly healthy foods. A few treats are okay, too.
If you have any particular questions, post them here. This is a smart and hard working group of generous people willing to share their knowledge. Again, welcome! -Marsha

Marsha's Keys to Success = Tracking! Super Foods! Step Up Cardio! And most important: Quit Quitting!!
Great job on getting to goal weight.
I haven`t quite made it there yet, but keep eating healthy, and drinking your water. Watch your portion sizes...
Allow yourself some small fluctuation in weight. When you gain that much, get immediately back on program before you gain any more and get discouraged.
Congrats on your success so far, and welcome to the team!
I'm sure just about anything I offer is also in those articles somewhere! I'm also looking forward to long-term maintenance, never having pulled it off beyond a couple of years before.
But seriously: never give up! Surround yourself with supportive people (like us), and keep reminders of why you're doing this around, prominently.
Defeat is temporary: giving up makes it permanent! Never give up!
Max lifetime weight 224.5
Maintaining with 122 marked as "goal" since October 2010
I was at my goal weight and now slightly above, so this advice is for me, too.
Don't be obsessive, but be aware of what you eat and intentional about exercise.
Log your food everyday.
Stay in touch with the team!
Congratulations on your weight loss.

to the team! I'm still trying to regulate (6 months after reaching goal) so I'm not sure I have any advice...yet.

My name is Laura and I just recently met my goal weight on 3/17/10. I've lost 24 lbs to day since Novemember. I am looking to maintaining this loss forever. Anyone have any tips apart from the SP articles? I've read those so many times.
