Congratulations, your plan is a good one. Maintaining is just living the lifestyle and for me it is being ever vigilant and maintaining the exercise.

Congratulations on reaching your goal, that is so great! I find maintenance is an ongoing challenge, but it seems you are prepared for that which puts you in a good place for long-term success.

"I was really looking forward to having a normal, healthy lifestyle..."

Beware the diet mentality! I know you know this. In order to maintain you have to do the exact same thing that you did to lose it. The extra calories added for maintenance don't add up to anything exciting like going back to the old days!!!

Good luck! You know what to do! Birdie.

More good days than bad days equal success!

I just hit my goal this morning, much sooner than I thought I would. It's taken my over eight months to lose 25 lbs. though, and I've been using the nutrition tracker the ENTIRE time! Now I'm a little anxious. The holidays are coming, I just hit my goal, and I'm not sure what to do. I was really looking forward to having a normal, healthy lifestyle when this happened, but it's happened so suddenly (I lost my last four pounds in like a week) that now I don't feel "ready." I think I'm still going to use my nutrition tracker and just add 100-200 calories a day to see where that takes me. I'm sooo nervous though! I don't want to slip up now!
