Welcome to the team Gary!

WTG on your fantastic weight loss!

I'm sure our resident experts will give you plenty of helpful advice for weight maintenance as well as fitness ideas.

I have only recently reached my goal weight so I am not an expert, but I do continue my daily walking.

Congratulations! Reading this teams forums has been great...many "issues" addressed here, that can be surprising results of losing weight.

Welcome, congratulations, and good luck!

There are many threads about different concerns in maintenance on this team, so look at those and see if any of them hit any of your current concerns. They may also give you a heads up on what lies ahead. It's good that you are thinking ahead about your future in maintenance, I think many people hit the goal, and then go back to their old ways, and that's why the success rate of weight loss is reportedly so low. We are trying to be the long term success stories, and would like you to join us!

Congratulations Gary on the great Life style change. Maintaining is somewhat challenging but is very feasible. Stay active on Ole Sparkie, keep working the plan and plan WILL work.

Hello, my name is Gary, I am 47 years old. May of 2008 I weight 260lbs and had high blood pressure, high colesteral, high Trigleceries and elavated suger levals. Since I start my weight loss I have droped to 165 lbs and am in much better health. Now I am looking for fitness and nutruition ideals as weight maintance can be harder than weight loss. Plus I would like to loose that last 5 lbs. I am 5'11 also.

Coke free since July 4, 2008. I eat my calories not drink them.
