Hi all,my first goal has been reached going from 196-155lbs. I will be taking it slowly for a while so I don't backslide. Besides maintaining my weight, I am not sure what my next goal will be yet. Right now I am sticking to my diet and exercises. I am sure I will figure out what to aim for next before too long.

Thanks! It's hard to talk about this stuff with most people in my everyday life. Talking about changes just feels like I am somehow bragging or saying, "Look at me!" when that is certainly not the idea. I have found a couple to talk to, and that sure helps. This team also helps, as it helps me know what is "normal" in these situations, and that I am sure not alone in experiencing these issues/thoughts.

Welcome, congratulations, and good luck!

I think you are wise for looking ahead, as many feel the elation then let down of hitting that goal, and it does help to have another in mind. So if it's fitness, health measures or whatever, you can find something that will Spark you again. Personally I have to have something to shoot for or I get bored. So find something you want to improve and make that a new goal.

Hi everybody. I'm moving in on my next goal- not really sure what "goal" is yet, but have to be getting close to the final spot. I started this journey by just wanting to lose 10 pounds, that I would be happy with that. Just kept making a new goal whenever I reached one, famous words, "Lets see if THIS is possible"...and it has been possible! Now its more than 35, and I feel fabulous!
I have been reading this board for the last few weeks, trying to get ready and because I had a lot of questions dealing with especially the reactions and behaviors of *other* people. Also things like the clothes and what they mean to you...the fear of adding calories...all the stuff everybody goes through (and from reading here, now I know its stuff everybody goes through!). Very supportive and helpful team, and board to read. Thanks!
