All,

Rather than trying to answer each reply, I'll I think I'll just say thanks for the nice welcome and let everyone know that I will be happy to offer any support I can, and look forward to your support should that time come.

Thanks. I understand the problem with trying to figure out how many carbs, how many calories, and how much exercise is ideal to maintain the weight we want. But the journey is part of the fun. I used to run about three miles a day, but have switched over to golf and biking as it's a bit easier on the bod.

The one thing I've never done since losing the weight is beat myself up over gaining a few pounds. I think we all tend to do that from time to time (gain). But it's what we do about it that's the important thing. Me, I just cut back on the carbs a bit and up the exercise. Of course, I think it's easier for guys to do that and get fast results. My girlfriend is always telling me that she's a bit jealous that I can do that when needed.

Thanks. The first few months were a bit difficult. But once I got into the rhythm of maintenance, it really wasn't all that difficult. I'm tempted, like everyone else (and especially around holidays) but I guess that's what extra exercise is for. :)

Congratulations, you have done extremely well. I have only been maintaining since last September, but I still track all my food and I continue to exercise on a daily basis

Wow, congrats! That's really inspiring. I've been maintaining for only about a month. I'm still trying to figure out how much I should be eating and working out to maintain. In the mean time I'm staying consistent with exercise by committing to running 6 days a week. Welcome!

I lost 54 pounds eight years ago and have maintained my current weight of 176 since then. Moderate carbs (about 100 grams a day) and exercise have been the key for me. What about y'all?
