Hi! Looks like I'm joining a new team and lots of new members too. Seems like I am in the right place! I lost 25 pounds and I know from past experience that I am prone to gain much of it back--especially during the Christmas season.
So, I'm looking forward to learning from you all and keeping motivated to stay where I am.

Hello all - I am so glad to have found your group. I lost about 30 lbs and am at goal about 1 year ago but have found lately that I am going back into my old habits. Not good because I do not want to gain any weight back. So, I am hoping I can find the support I need here. Thanks!!!

Hi All, New to this group, and fairly new to SP, still exploring the site. I've been at goal since mid April, exercise daily, and have lost 30 - 31 lbs through WeightWatchers. Still attend WW meetings as a Lifetime member. I'm very dedicated at staying at goal, and looking for continued motivations. Love the challenges offered on this site. Looking forward to checking in with you all daily.
Hi everyone. I joined SP in January and I have lost 40 ponds since then. I am pretty amazed actually that I lost the weight. I would like to lose 3 to 8 pounds more eventually. Right now though I am content to maintain. I am a teacher and since I have summer off I think maintaining for now is the best plan. Part of me is really scared I will gain the weight back. I feel great and I want to keep it that way. Looking forward to being part of this group.

I reached my goal weight one or two weeks ago. While I was going I learned to finally eat right aagain. to walk again, to swim, and to drink water. Not BAD!! I feel I will still lose a few pounds while swimming, but I am content. Nancy

I am new to SparkPeople. This seems like a great site. I lost 60 pounds in one year and have maintained now for just over one year (14 months). It is definately easier as time goes on, but I have my motivational crises from time to time. I look forward to getting to know you and in supporting each other on our journey.
(A little about me: I am 41, female, 5'4" and fluctuate between 131-134 pounds. I workout 5-6 times per week, and weight train 3 x per week. I maintain on approximately 1200-1600 calories/day.)
