Welcome Dana! I got through my diet because it allowed sugar-free hot chocolate every night (you mix cocoa powder & Splenda, and add vanilla to the milk), so I already feel like we are sisters!

I looked for 'Imagine yourself a Diet Marine" on Amazon but didn't see it. Is that the title of the book?

I've reached my goal & plan to make the diet I followed a lifetime program. Ha! Can't believe I said that! After years of yo-yo-ing (I hate diets!), I finally found something I was happy with. It's new, & the authors really got me with their "Imagine yourself a Diet Marine." That worked, they're funny, & the diet also uses cocoa. COCOA!? Omg I'm a chocoholic anyway, so the chocolate bullet wasn't hard at all to bite & I stayed with it. Exercised too, a lot. Haven't been this happy about how I feel since... can't remember. So now -- I'm maintaining. Oh joy. Happy to meet you all!

The longest journey begins with a single step. And then a thousand others, and then a thousand others. Deal with it. :)
