Welcome to the maintaining team! I know what you mean about the community support, this group has been so great about keeping each other motivated and feeling supported when we are celebrating or need to get back in control of our eating/exercising. The maintenance road is not always well maintained, I guess, but we pay attention to those potholes and fix them before they become sinkholes!

In any case, congrats on being able to maintain for such a long time, and welcome again.

I have been at "goal" since February 2005 and joined SparkPeople several months ago, mainly to read the articles, etc. I follow "South Beach" principles and was participating on a South Beach site, which has now "gone down" so I hope to participate in this group as a "maintainer". I have found it so important to keep in contact with a community of others who have/are losing weight for continued motivation. I am glad I started to look at the forums! Good luck to all ...
