I do want to change. I stayed small for so long that it is hard to believe that I have gained so much weight. The weight gain has been in the last 8 years. I did lose down to 168, but I have gained over 100 pounds now and it is so hard to lose it now. I walk, I cut back on what I what eat and still I put on weight. I am unemployed and I know that the stress of not having a job works on the weight gain.

I have to agree dogs make it fun. I have a yorkie named Benjamin, "Benji" for short and I take him out twice a day and I get my exercise that way. If I try to dance in the house he wants to dance with me.
Hi to everyone!! My name is Elaine and I found this website in Women's World magazine and thought I would try it. Reading this article gave hope to me that I can lose weight. It seems that everything that I eat lately puts on the weight. I have started a journal to keep track of calories and hope to see a loss at the end of the week even if just a few pounds. Not much for exercising but I do walk with my dog at least twice a day.
