Try doing a quick video exercise after you get home. There are plenty here in sparks, also You Tube has videos. Walk your dog before dinner. Just take a step at a time.

A dog wags his tail with his heart.

May I always be the kind of person that my dog thinks I am.

I am retired so my sweet Bailey's sad eyes each morning make me get out and take her for a walk....but before she came into my life (when employed) I would set my alarm each morning and do my exercise routine and then hit the shower before going to work and I would pack a healthy lunch to take to work also. It's tough but doable!

DO you have an outlet for meeting friends? I go to the dog park daily and we've gotten a large group of 50-60 something-yr-olds to keep in touch and enjoy each other. I don't know what else would raise my spirits and energy more than friends.
Spark People is giving me the energy to do so much more. Read the articles on good eating and getting exercise. It certainly works!
You sound a little depressed. Perhaps just a little change in your life will do the trick.
Good luck.

well I'm 20 years older than you and I don't work outside the home anymore. BUT I would suggest that you eat clean, learn about power, energy foods. Batch cook on weekends so you can carry clean eats with you.
Chicken breasts
fruits and veggies
nuts/ seeds
greek yogurt
make great grab n go stuff. I swear by things like bee pollen for energy and I suggest you never skip a healthy breakfast.
It's so important that you make some time for yourself to exercise. Even if it's just a few min. a day, be consistent!! I promise you will feel so much better.

I work full-time and by the time I get home I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything else. I cook dinner and wash dishes and then watch tv. I'm stuck in a rutt that I created myself and I don't know how to get out of it. I need more energy to get things done. Any suggestions?
