I just re-joined sparkpeople a week ago after giving up my account in 2008 from successful weight loss. I actually had managed to maintain my weight until about a year ago when my life more-or-less fell apart. I've been trying to motivate myself to lose the weight again since October, and I finally stopped telling myself "I'll start tomorrow". If there's anything that I've learned in the last year, it's that the past cannot hold us back, and that tomorrow never ever comes. Tomorrow is always a day away.
There is only today and what I make of it is up to me.
And you know, in this single week back on Sparkpeople, I've become much more conscientious of the food I eat and how much (or little) I exercise, and as a result, I've already lost a pound!
