It is a catch 22, and you are certainly not alone in this.
Two things I've been keeping in mind the last few weeks:
Life doesn't have a remote control; you have to get up and change it!
Just put one foot in front of the other.
Kaizen, Japanese for "continuous improvement" or "change for the better," refers to philosophy or practices that focus upon continuous improvement of processes. Kaizen is a daily process of making changes and monitoring results, then adjusting as needed.
That is the bain of our existences. Of course we are tired just from carrying around excess weight and that keeps us from doing something about it. Baby steps, and pushing ourselves along with eating good foods like fruits, vegs, and whole grains all play a role in helping us to feel better and add a bit of energy.

I just read a book that I want to recommend for you to look at concerning the link between feeling too tired to exercise, especially when cutting calories and being overweight. It is this book: www.amazon.com/Why-We-Get-Fat-About/ dp /0307272702
It explains the role of insulin in how our fat cells grow and hold on to fat and why a diet low in carbs is the way to change that. The first third of the book is a little hard to get through but after that the author really explains things very well and convincingly. When I'm done with it I will write a blog about it. Take your time, and start out slow. Take you dogs for a 10 to 15 min. walk, and build up from there. The great thing about this site is you go at your own pace. If you have a bad day, just say tomorrow is another day. Just don't give up!
