I believe all animals are special. I have two that are examples of keeping you calm and one nicknamed the devil dog because she is loud and crazy. I believe she is my punishment for not being there for my dog, Squatter when she passed away when I was at work. I find that dogs are one of the best creatures on this planet.
I know mine are from GOD. HE is the only one that could POSSIBLY know the personalities I need to help me feel better daily and forget about stresses (mostly outside the house). I certainly wouldn't have picked Kirby and Ziggy if it was all up to me. But, they are my kids and make my life well worth living and smiling about. It doesn't hurt that they make me laugh everyday and they accept my many kisses on them. LOL
I would never talk to my BFF the way I talk to myself about my body.

I believe that my life would not be as fulfilled if I did not have my two dogs in my life to cheer me up when feeling down and listen without comment when I need to vent. There names are Tyson-Dalmation/cross and Bella Maltese/cross. I love them to death.
Cheers Christina 2012 here I come A NEW YEAR A NEW ME

Hi Tema, Ohhhh...you have a schnauzer. I just lost my Schnauzer to kidney stones last February. One of the worst days (or should I say months) of my life. My little boy was only 8 years old and had sooo much energy. I still can't believe he is gone. Ouch. Still tears me up. My Chihuahua (10 yrs old) misses him terribly, but I can't dream of getting another dog and going through that again. It will be hard enough when I have to put her down. Make sure you get your Schnauzer checks for kidney stones....I guess it is very very common in them. I had NO idea and my vet did not make me aware of it. I had to read that online. And all the money you spend for their bi-early checkups which have urine analysis, blood tests, etc. How could they not catch that...Ugh. No longer with THAT Vet. Went to another Vet that asked if my Schnauzer, jumped when you pet his back. I said yes he did, why??? That is the most common sign of Kidney stones. (Which I had been telling my Vet about that for over a year). The MOST expensive Vets (He was supposed to be the best in town), are not necessarily the best, they just have to charge more to maintain their facility.
Ok, Jojo, this may be bad theology but when you mentioned angels I had to say that they certainly do the work of angels a LOT. I guess God can use anyone who is willing and willing they are. Something to learn from for sure.
Ok....I'm tearing up!!! (happy tears)....It's totally true! My angels keep me calm, have taught me to be the best person I can be and give me purpose. From the medical aspect, statistics have shown lower blood pressure because of all our wonderful angels! XOXO, Jojo
when i had my heart attack my dogs saved my life. they refused to let me lay down. they climbed in bed and started chewing on my ears and nose aggressively. their behavior told me something was wrong. i went to the hospital and was in the operating room in ten minutes.
doctor told me dog spelled backwards is GOD.

I so agree, God gave us dogs to teach us how to behave selflessly. How lucky we are!
"The world is one country and mankind its citizens" one of the many truths spoken by Baha'u'llah and "Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul."
Hi there I'm new to the team....and I love my dog and I just love what you wrote it's so true....

Dogs were definitely created by God...to teach us how to love, like He loves us. Dogs just want to be loved and to love back. They will be there even when you are having a bad day, good day, forgot to feed them, gone all day....or what ever. They always are willing to forgive and start over. Sounds like what the Bible tells us to do, doesn't it?
How many times do we hold on to something someone has done to us (which most likely we have done to others) and just wont forgive them? Who is that hurting more...them or us? Do they even know what they did? Did we tell them or do we expect them to figure it out on their own????
We need to forgive others like our Dogs forgive us for our bad behaviors.
